Efficacy of Tofacitinib on Enthesitis in Patients with Active Psoriatic Arthritis: Analysis of Pooled Data from Two Phase 3 Studies

Effect of Upadacitinib on Disease Activity, Pain, Fatigue, Function, Health-Related Quality of Life and Work Productivity for Biologic Refractory Ankylosing Spondylitis

Upadacitinib significantly improved patient-reported outcomes in AxSpA patients with bDMARD-IR after 14 Weeks of treatment. There were notable improvements in disease activity, pain, fatigue, function, HRQoL, and work productivity.

Effect of Intravenous Golimumab on Fatigue and the Relationship with Clinical Response in Adults with Active Ankylosing Spondylitis in the Phase 3 GO-ALIVE Study

Administration of IV-golimumab 2 mg/kg improves fatigue symptoms in axial spondylitis in a 52 Week study. At Week 16 of treatment, improvements in ASAS, ASDAS, BASDAI and SF-36 scores were observed at week 16 of treatment.

Pain and Inflammation as Mediators of Tofacitinib Treatment Effect on Fatigue in Patients with Ankylosing Spondylitis: A Mediation Analysis

Kristensen, et al. used mediation modelling to show that tofacitinib indirectly improved fatigue symptoms via back pain and morning stiffness. This study was carried out using FACIT-F- and BASDAI Q1-based models to determine the relationship between these variables.

In the latest study by Curtis, et al. guselkumab treatment regimens improved general HRQoL as measured by the EQ-5D-5L Index and EQ-VAS. In reaching this conclusion investigators aimed to determine the minimal important difference for both instruments and to understand the associations between patient-reported EQ-5D-5L Index and EQ-VAS scores as well as key PsA clinical features.

Risankizumab Improved Health-Related Quality of Life, Fatigue, Pain and Work Productivity in Psoriatic Arthritis: Results Of Keepsake 1

In this study risankizumab treatment resulted in greater improvements in fatigue and pain than placebo. Prior to this finding the study aimed to evaluate the impact of risankizumab on HRQoL and other PROs among patients with active PsA and inadequate response or intolerance to csDMARD-IR in the KEEPsAKE 1 trial.

The Impact of Tofacitinib on Fatigue, Sleep, and Health‑Related Quality of Life in Patients with Rheumatoid Arthritis: A Post Hoc Analysis of Data from Phase 3 Trials

This was an exploratory post hoc analysis of pooled data, from over 2000 patients in three Phase 3 studies of tofacitinib, which demonstrates an association between tofacitinib treatment and significantly greater improvements in fatigue, sleep, and health-related quality of life (HRQoL), compared with placebo.
